Maria Sfyraki & Associates is a multidisciplinary architecture & design practice providing architectural design, sustainable and environmental design, construction management, master planning, interior design and passive house design services.
Founded in 2008, the practice has a strong approach throughout all disciplines and a team that combines high quality, innovative and environmental design, committed to promote and developing a more sustainable, efficient, social and cost-effective future.
The practice’s experience includes a broad range of building types and urban schemes in both the private and public sector, specializing in energy consulting in new construction and major renovations.

Green Evolution (GE) was created in 2009 by a group of environmental, engineering, financial and legal experts who are specialists in environment, energy, and carbon finance. Green Evolution offers integrated environmental services, specialized technical-economic services related to carbon finance, projects that exploit flexible mechanisms, renewable energy, energy conservation and energy efficiency and covers all needs with respect to energy inspection, carbon accounting and carbon/energy management. With respect to sustainable tourism in particular, GE assist interested entities to implement sustainable tourism through consulting, training and functional support, in the design, management and implementation of tourism projects with sustainability in order to create long term benefits for destinations and local communities.GE is the Training Partner of GSTC for the South East Europe, and the CEO of GE is the GSTC Director for Mediterranean, while partners of GE are certified auditors in international Sustainable Tourism Standards, Project Managers for Sustainable Development in Tourism and Certified Consultants in Sustainable Development and Environmental Standards. GE is the National Partner of GSTC in a Contract of GSTC with the Greek Ministry of Tourism signed on 2020.
Magdalini is a qualified architect engineer specialising in environmental engineering. Magdalini obtained a BEng/MEng in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She also holds an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from University College London and has recently completed an EPSRC funded PhD in Performance evaluation of historic structures from the University of Cambridge. Magdalini has previously worked with the Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development (OISD) on UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board funded projects related to in-use building performance evaluation studies of sustainable domestic and non-domestic buildings across the UK. She has also worked with a number of organisations focusing on sustainable design and architectural practices in Cambridge, London and Athens.
